Just returned from the Fly dressing evening at the Twa Dogs (Twa meaning two) in Keswick. Had a great evening dressing a number of flies; the Pink Lady, an adult sedge, a spider pattern. Dressing the split wing Pink Lady in a demonstration is not for the faint hearted, but if it goes well, the end result can be quite pleasing.  The wings are of Teal primary, a reasonably friendly quill. I was pleased with result. Just a little more burnishing on the floss body could have been done; remember that the lights in a pub are not always the best. Hope you like this fly, I am sure that the recipient of this fly in a frame will be.
