To have one hobby that you are passionate about is just great, to have two is even better. My other hobby (apart from Fly Dressing) is wood turning. The two bowls above; the left one is turned from Utily, the right one is from Brazilian Mahogany came out quite well. Taking the Utily bowl with flash photography shows the grain up extremely well. Going through the grades of sand paper (starting from 80 to 600 grit) really does pay dividends in the end. Both pieces of wood are over 40 years old and hence have below the required moisture content. Both are finished with sunflower oil such that food (fruit etc) can be stored in them safely.
