Cocobolo and Blackwood priest

I have always advocated carrying a priest in order that a fish can be given the last rights with dignity. The use of stones and other implements does not afford the fish that right. The golden rule of fishing is to respect ones quarry and treat it with the utmost care at all times.

In production on a Myford Mystro is a Cocobolo priest. The end of the priest is loaded with brass and has been capped with Blackwood. The striking grain gives the priest a touch of class. Unfortunately, this is lost with time due to exposure to the atmosphere.

Tight lines
